For almost 20 years now, Munky and Ibanez have been designing signature guitars that constantly challenged the idea of what the 7-string guitar could (and should) be. That amazing legacy continues with the Ibanez APEX 30. Built upon the ultra-modern RGA body shape, this new axe incorporates a pair of DiMarzio® Blaze™ pickups, that as their name indicates, bellow out heavy doses of incinerating metal tone, and the whole show is anchored by the Evertune® Bridge. This means no matter how hard you bend, stretch or warp those strings, they’ll always come back to perfect tune, ready to rip though the next song and beyond.

Ibanez's thin, flat and fast Wizard neck is strong and sturdy and offers unlimited playability for demanding players.

Ebony fretboard
Ebony produces tight lows and mid range with a strong attack in the high end and features a quick response and rich sustain.

Jumbo frets
Jumbo frets contribute to smooth playability, especially for single-note playing.

Maple top / Nyatoh body
The Maple top sonically enriches the response while picking. The Nyatoh body provides a rich mid-low end.

DiMarzio® Blaze™ H-H pickups
DiMarzio® Blaze™ pickups were first introduced for our Universe guitars. With a scooped mid-range and just-right output level, they can handle everything from jazzy-clean tone to heavily distorted sound.
